Curious Deer Add Video

This little fella made me laugh. He spotted that trail camera from quite aways & had to go investigate. It amazes me how these deer, even at a young age, know when somethings not right in their house.

The best part of having trail cameras out is that you never know what you're going to see when you check out the chips on them. The more time I spend in the woods the more I get to read body language & you kinda know what's about to happen. For years I would hear the blue jays going nuts & then I finally figured out they were warning the other birds something was near. I don't know how many times I've heard them squawkin & then look in that direction & see a deer or turkey approaching. It's an alarm signal I guess just like when the deer blow & snort to alarm the other deer. If I see a deer staring in one direction for too long I figure something or someone is coming.

Agree on them knowing something is amiss. We find in the north woods that away from a food source, it is easy to change a deers travel route with the placement of trail cameras. Both flash and IR.
